We have developed a software that handles internal recharges between diferent division and companies within the same group of companies. Can you suggest a name that is short and expressive at the sametime… an example of what the software handles: Logistics division charges Retail division for goods deliveries.. IT division charges Logistics for Logisitics Management software licenses… I suggested Inter-Charge … but no one likes it…please any ideas?

I was wondering if it would be legal if someone downloaded something like Adobe Photoshop CS4 for free and only used it personally. Or is it totally illegal? Is it even possible to get a product like that for free? Are there any other sources you can point me to that can tell me more about this?

I want to start software training institute in India with legal software license, In case if i could not able to afford i want to purchase / contract from some other 3rd party company instead of direct company. Basically i am looking to start SAP software training institute, can any one tell me approximately how much i need to invest for SAP software license to train the people or take license from 3rd party company.
Is it legal to buy counterfit software off of eBay as long as your not the one selling it?

I personally don’t care as long as the software works, and it doesn’t need updates. If it does, their is usually a crack to bypass the online checks. If I can get the software for dirt cheap and save my self a couple hundred dollars in the process, why should I care if I bought legit software or not.
We know that copying licensed software or game is illegal, but what about old version software and games?

We failed to get permission to read a third-party’s data format (Encrypted data), but once that third-party’s application is installed in the same PC, my application has a way to interact with its component and through that component to read its data format. I would like to know if this is legal since I don’t want to get into any trouble. Anyone, please help me out. Thanks.

I am outside the US and will be for few more months. Even though my wife has a full power of attroney, my bank still want me to write them a letter to allow her to withdraw mony from my accounts. I need a software that will allow me to create and attach my legal signutre. I am in middle of no where and will take forever for the mail to get delivered from where I am.
