My high school copied the Pirates of the Caribbean logo and put it on the front of my yearbook. I think that they should be reported because they weren’t very creative ripping off a logo and the yearbook itself was poorly designed. How do I report them to Disney? Thanks. The school does make money off of the yearbook. Also, it’s a poorly run high school with bad teachers and bad education program. I would be doing the students a favor if the school went bankrupt and they had to go to another school. So, what are the chances of legal actions being taken if I report them?
Is using materials in an artwork like another artists work copyright infringement?

I have an online classified website and need a terms of service and privacy policy. Is it illegal for me to take another site’s contracts (like Craigslist) and use it as my contract as long as I take out “Craigslist” and put it my company name? I’ve spoken to a couple of lawyers and they told me that I could do this and that there was nothing I could be sued for because there aren’t copyrights on legal documents. Is this true?

I wrote a piece of literature and gave it to someone online for feedback. I gave it to her because she is also writer and doesn’t know me personally (therefore she won’t just “try to be nice”.) She hasn’t responded for weeks. The literature is not published, however it IS copyrighted and registered with the Library of Congress. The person who has it knows that, but I’m still not sure. Am I just being paranoid? I just want to be prepared in case someone tries to steal my work.

If I’m discussing the aspects of a game me and others are developing, and I refer to a different game as an example for expressing an aspect of the game in development, would I be considered to be “stealing” ideas from the referenced game?

My videos are fan based and some are home made. Im pretty sure its my background music.Is there a program I can use so the copyright filter wont pick it up? How are other people posting soundtrack (copyrighted) music with no problem? Once again my videos are created by me,but the music is not. PLEASE HELP!!
