Well, I have to hand in some IT coursework in the next 2 days… the one thing that’s really been a pain in my behind are these questions: 1. Why remove software licenses? 2. How do we remove them? Any help will be greatly appreciated.. I don’t have much knowledge on the legal side of technology, that’s why I need help. Thanks to all who contribute!

Help With WIndows NT 4.0 Cd Key?

I just to say this before some dick head starts accusing me of piracy I have the original Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0 Disk, but since it is about 12 years old. The cd case has lots of wear and tear and the cd key on the back has worn down and some of the letters and number have started to wear away and i have found a virus on my computer and don’t want to mess with hunting it down and removing it im going to just reinstall it but here is the problem the key is missing the last 2 numbers. realize I could just buy it online but don’t want to mess with re-buying it and I was wondering if there was any way for me to find the key on the cd or if there was any other way to find it. Sims 2 expansion pack help?

I have Sims 2 Double Deluxe (I’ve had it forever and played it just fine on my Windows Vista computer) and I recently received an expansion pack for my birthday, The Sims 2 University collection. I installed it just fine and everything went well, and then when I went to click on the game to play something popped up saying, “Wrong disc inserted. Please insert the original Sims 2 University collection to play” or something like that. I know it has something to do with the anti-piracy policy or whatever, but can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this? And oh my God if anyone directs me to the EA GAMES website, I’ll explode. Don’t you people think I would’ve already tried that before asking a question on a question/answer site?! Thanks to anyone who answers, please please please help!

HELP NEEDED Far Cry 2 installation Problem?

hi guys i have just got far cry 2 and am keen to play it but when i have tried to install it 3x all it does after i hit the install button is a small command box flashes in the top left corner of the screen for about half a second then disappears then after that nothing happens my computer is a 2008 model imac with the 24 inch monitor 2.8ghz core 2 duo 2gb ddr 800 mhz ram and 256 mb ati mobility radeon 2600xt under clocked (apple said its a 2600 pro – google it if you dont believe me) it also had the standard boot camp graphics drivers because when i tried to update them to the latest model i get graphical glitches in crysis e.g flashing objects by the way yes it will run far cry 2 i checked @ www.canurunit.com and i can also run both crysis’s at 1024×768 all medium about 30-40 fps average oh and by the way yes this is a downloaded one but i am just trying it first so that i can make my decision whether or not to buy it as i have heard its good and bad by different people (from fourms not people i know) so please dont complain about piracy also all of the comments on the torrent got the game to work fine and i have only found one problem the same as mine on google and his was legit but there where no responses to his question thanks all in advance if you can help me

k so i have a report for school on music piracy, and i need to know if ripping youtube videos (download them) to listen to the music (music&video or just music either one) is legal or not. iwould say it is bc like, its a video on youtube, and ppl like raywilliamjohnson rip videos all the time, and on the videos they dont tell you that you CANT rip the music or video .. ideas and help here plzz

my itunes store doesn’t work, and apparently, i have to completely restore my computer if i ever want to buy new songs on it ever again >_< it says that it’s corrupted and gets hung up loading the main page of the stupid store and podcast directory etc i have no problem doing this, because i have the restore disk and i can easily back up all my files. my problem is that i recently bought (no piracy!!) the premium (i think…) adobe creative suite 3. i have already installed it on my laptop and my mom’s desktop because i use her computer too. it only lets me install it on two computers and if i restore my laptop, it will erase it from that one. i think that this means that i will only have cs3 on my mom’s computer then, which would be rather inconvinient. do you know how i can restore my computer without losing my cs3? please dont tell me to just fix update/ remove and then re-install itunes, because i’ve tried that! a million times! but if you have other itunes fixing tips, do tell
Windows OS’ help?

Alright, long story short. I have a Dell XPS, which came with no OS disks, and came with XP preinstalled. Two years later, I get a lightning storm, fries hard drive, get new hard drive, have no disk so borrow friend’s vista disk, install it on new hard drive, a month later my computer bugs me to activate it. I find out it’s piracy, contact microsoft, who tell me if it was xp I need to find that OS either through the manufacturer or a friend with xp. I HAVE THE REGISTRATION FOR AN XP BUT WHERE CAN I DL IT?
