The term PC Satellite TV has so many different variations such as Satellite for PC and Satellite TV on PC that you can become quite confused if they didn’t reflect a specific name of a software. Nevertheless for this article, I decided to use the first term to represent all the software available over the Net since it has the most number of searches on Google with the phrase Satellite TV included.
The other two terms came in a distant second and third respectively. However there comes another term called ‘Proprietary Software’ which defines all of them better, whether or not Satellite TV makes up part of the term.
Proprietary Software can be define as computer software produced by someone that has restriction rights as to its use, modification, copying, or republishing. You may be more familiar with the term Copyrights which also prohibits any user of the software from tampering with the source code, reselling it, etc.

Instead, they rely on free software such as Windows Media Player, RealPlayer and Microsoft .Net Frameswork in order for them to work on your computer.
