Would putting a Guinness beer poster or any other poster on the wall in a video on youtube be considered copyright infringement? Or am I protected under the fair use policy? If I became a youtube partner, I would be making money off the video. But I wouldn’t be taking any money away from Guinness. I wouldn’t be making any money at Guinness’s expense.

The United States Music Copyright Laws?
So growing up and all I was under the impression that only one copy per purchase could be played at a time. Example; You don’t play “bought once two copies” Sexy Sadie at location A and location B at the same time. But, not sure anymore. Is it alright to download music if you can’t find it sung by that person anywhere else? Is it alright if you plan on buying it later? Is it alright if you have a (movie, game, tv-show ETC.) where that song is featured? Can you rip songs from a cd, and then give said CD to someone else? Could someone explain the FBI-Anti piracy warning in /my/ language? As in make it understandable from average-person to average-person, not lawyer to average-person. This is all hypothetical and I’m just confused.

If I make an appearance on TV, is it copyright infringement to post it on YouTube?
Basically, I know everyone does it but I was wondering if it’s against the law and if it’s copyright infringement to do so (if I’m on TV, can I put it on YouTube?) Please get back to me!
Should we abolish the copyright and patent right? Other countries do not observe it anyway…?
Illegal use of foreign intellectual property was a common business during the Soviet time; not much has changed since then despite economical reforms. Plagiarists are now as before re-writing and publishing under their names professional manuals and handbooks. Piracy of software is seen as normal business. It is not surprising because the same persons have remained in power: leaders of the former Communist Party (so-called Nomenclatura) and their progeny. is it copyright infringement to take pictures at a school play?
I took some pictures at my daughters school play and she was told that is was illegal, that it was a copyright infringement. I was under the impression that copyright only comes into play when a substantial or important part of a work was reproduced to be used for distribution or sale. It would also have to be identifyable as being from that work.
Is distributing lecture notes considered copyright infringement?
If I were to distribute (for free) notes I once took in a mathematics course, is this considered copyright infringement? Technically, the material isn’t the instructor’s intellectual property since it was not discovered by him; it was just something he, as well, learned at one point.
whats with anime copyright infringement?
I’ve been watching a ton of anime and every once in awhile I find that the video had been removed due to copyright infringement or some other crap like that. Now I look around and there are DOZENS of the same episode subbed in a different language (spanish, italian, french, ect.) but yet only the english ones are having issues with copyright. Do the makers of anime have something against americans watching anime or have I overlooked something?
How can Warner Music Group claim copyright infringement on a Mozart Symphony? Isn’t that public domain?
My Friend and I have a youtube page. We made a video that contained a Mozart Symphony (can’t remember the name at the moment) The video was flagged by WMG for copyright infringement, and youtube wont let us challenge it, so we don’t know what we infringed on. We chose Mozart to avoid copyright infringement, I’m wondering if there is something I’m missing here.
