The government can’t track every single computer and check if there downloading illegally or not but can they really just give up like that? The answer is yes and no. Tracking every computer would take forever and extremely tasking but taking down the sites that post the free media would definitely help out the cause. Many people choose not to download illegally but there are still those individuals who go about the wrong way by choosing not to obey the laws. There are those who say that there sites are legal and free but somewhere in there is a scam that covered up by flashy ads and giveaways. As the saying goes “If it’s too good to be true then it probably is”.
 
Nothing in life is REALLY free it only seems that way and media is no exception. The world goes on people pay for entertainment and this won’t change for a long time. Piracy will continue to be in the background trying to save a few bucks by not choosing to pay but as time goes on more and more people choose to go the honest way and pay for what they want. The highroad will pay off in the end while piracy can cause many problems in people’s lives. The 21st century has been full of piracy though that is changing over the years is it really enough to save the media? Our world is slowly evolving from an illegal point of life to a more legal and honourable system.
Piracy will always be there but you have the choice to say no to it and keep the media industry alive. 21st media industry has had its share of economical problems but that is slowly changing into an honourable partnership between producer and consumer.
